Free Angolan population from isolation

Malaria, cholera and yellow fever are the most serious causes of death in Angola. Isolation is one of the biggest causes that causes major health problems. Many regions are very difficult to reach due to the limited road network and the poor condition of the routes outside the big cities.

Most help organizations stay away and that has far-reaching consequences for the population. In the remote villages live families who urgently need our help, especially during a rainy season when people cannot go anywhere.

Local help centers can hardly be supplied because there is no '0ff road transport'. Children are often sick, especially after the large rainy season, and the parents are too poor for medicines or a bed net. When a child is infected with the feared malaria, the parents cannot reach a hospital in the cities soon enough. This worrying situation must change.

We can turn this tide by removing the population and the aid stations in these remote villages of Angola from their isolation, especially in these areas by ensuring adequate supplies with the means by which they can survive.

That is why Drive Against Malaria went to these remote regions of Angola, where there have been no other organizations for years. We support isolated help centers, such as the Posto Médico Da Hogiua, deliver free healthcare, train the local people and assist with diagnosis.

With the spread of hundreds of mosquito nets, we can stop the outbreak of malaria and ensure the spread of protection where people desperately need it.

This allows families to look forward to the future with hope, without malaria and tropical diseases.
